Yuwen received his Ph.D. from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. He then moved to Harvard University, where he collaborated with Eric N. Jacobsen to investigate the reaction mechanism of Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution (SNAr) transformations. Prior to joining Fudan University, Yuwen worked with Michael Strano at MIT to develop irreversible synthetic strategies for two-dimensional polymers (2DP). At Fudan, Yuwen is committed to advancing the field of synthetic 2D materials. His research interests include revealing mechanistic insights into 2D polymerizations, designing novel 2D polymeric structures, synthesizing state-of-the-art 2D materials, and developing innovative applications for these cutting-edge materials.
